I sound a little bit different in this track as I was sick when I recorded it. I wrote it when I was sick too. I read somplace that blackbirds, despite their looks, were actually meant to be a good sign and that people even make wishes on them sometimes. I haven't any idea if that shit's true or not, but I wrote a song about the blackbird anyways.
How lucky you are to me
I make wishes on your presence
As you bat your lovely wings
Sitting on that oak tree
You make me all better
When my voice can't carry me.
I lay back in the grass in a daze
I could daydream for days
I wave hello to the clouds in passing
You play my song when I can't sing
How lovely you are to me
You make music on my silence
As I close my eyes and breathe
Floating on my dreams
You make it all better
When my words can't carry me.

I'd like to thank my cold, which helped me temporarily gain this weird quality to my voice that I actually kind of like.
And to Ehsan and Giorgio for helping me by reviewing my song and giving me proper feedback. Thanks guys. <3
Aaaand to my dad for getting me this lovely recording equipment that I have now used to make a short song whilst I was sick.
